More details on courses

About the course:

Transcendental Meditation is a very specific technique and is only learned one-to-one from a trained, experienced and authorised Transcendental Meditation teacher. The first session is by personal instruction at a convenient time usually on a Saturday. Meditation classes follow this over the next three consecutive days, usually on Sunday morning and after work on Monday and Tuesday. Each session lasts approximately one and a half hours. We also run weekday courses, please contact us to arrange.

Follow-up:

The Transcendental Meditation course comes with extensive follow-up and personal support. After you’ve completed your course, Teachers remain available to provide further guidance and facilitate deeper understanding of the practice.   It is flexible and optional. After the initial four-day course you will feel confident to meditate at home on your own.

The follow-up programme includes:

·      Personal checking of your meditation, arranged according to your schedule.
·      Group sessions: Yoga and meditation sessions:
·      Breathing technique (pranayama), and a simple sequence of yoga postures to further maximise the effectiveness of your meditation practice.

What then?

You have learned a technique, not become part of a group or organization. However, we are here to support you in your practice and therefore provide a comprehensive support programme, comprising group meditations and knowledge meetings, weekend courses and advanced techniques for those who wish to take their personal development further.
